    Since July 2023, the closure of Broadmead Road Bridge in Woodford Green has caused major disruption for local residents, with diversion routes adding both time and distance to daily journeys across the west of Redbridge. Redbridge Council is responsible for the maintenance of this bridge but has appealed to central Government for assistance with the cost of repairs.
