Following the Mayor's replies on this topic on 13 September, having now seen the report of the consultants W S Atkins, and in particular their conclusion on the relative merits of a DLR or heavy rail crossing at Woolwich, namely that the heavy rail option overall "provides greater regeneration benefits, a wider spread of transport planning benefits and more residual service development potential", will the Mayor now firmly incorporate this option into his package of river crossing proposals?
