    The report by the Mayor's staff on Phase 4 of Gallion's Reach includes noise, visual effects and air pollution as the environmental effects which will come about from the building of the road river crossing a mere 100 meters north of this housing estate of 798 new units. Does the Mayor feel that a small strip of woodland and sound proofing will be enough to alleviate the problems of noise and visual amenity - as long as people don't go out into their garden, or leave the windows open in summer?
