Will the Mayor outline his proposals for a Heathrow congestion charge area. Can he identify which groups of motorists would actually be discouraged from driving to the airport once he has taken into account the proposed exemptions and excluded from his calculation those motorists already charged for parking? Will this proposed scheme make any significant contribution towards traffic reduction in west London? . .

Will the Mayor share with this Assembly any advice on the funding arrangements for the proposed East London Road River Crossings which he has recieved from TfL? Will the financial arrangements and the potential negative impacts (i.e. opportunity costs) of the crossings on a range of smaller TfL schemes, be part of the public consultation process? .

Has TfL carried out their own assessment of the environmental, economic and traffic congestion impacts of the proposed East London road river crossings? Does the Mayor regard it as wise to base a public consultation exercise upon figures and assessments arising from consultant reports which have been specifically commissioned to justify the proposed crossings? .

Can the Mayor provide a breakdown of exactly how he intends to spend £5m on the development and PFI support for the road river crossings, when the public consultation on them has yet to take place? How much of this money will be used to support the consultation process? .

Around £3m will be 'released' from the MPA budget if the London speed camera partnership bid is successful and the fines revenue is hypothocated. Will you ensure that this money is ring fenced for MPS work on road safety, such as establishing a mobile speed camera unit in every London borough? .

Will these services include road safety work beyond the 20 key transport corridors? Will these services include dealing with speeding and traffic offences in general, or just offences relating to the bus routes? Will these services include helping local authority officers with roadside emission testing? .
