Would you consider going further than this and ask TfL to adopt a clear goal of ensuring that there is cycle training for all year 5 and 6 pupils, plus top up training for secondary schools?

Given the failure to increase expenditure on Safe Routes sufficiently in the current financial year, are you convinced that funding will rise quickly enough in future years to meet demand from parents and make up for lost time?

    Given the success of TfL and many local authorities in London of reaching the 40% reduction target for Killed and Seriously Injured, will you guarantee that the increased levels of funding for this good work will continue? Is it time for London to lead the way in Britain, by adopting the more ambitious, but still achievable target of cutting the number of killed and seriously injured in half, buy 2010?
