Will you guarantee that the funding stream for TfL led cycle training in schools will continue beyond 2005/06, with the Cycling Centre for Excellence having the ability to meet local demand from parents arising from the school travel plans? Would you consider going further than this and ask TfL to adopt a clear goal of ensuring that there is cycle training for all year 5 and 6 pupils, plus top up training for secondary schools?

When you introduce free bus fares for under 18s, what do you expect to be the resultant modal shift out of cars and onto buses of children travelling to school? Have you seen a the cost-benefit analysis of this proposal, compared to other means of delivering traffic reduction on the school run?
