The Mayor has once again indicated that Market Research of 815 people, 54% of whom support the Tram project, is a more accurate reflection of public support for the Tram than the 17,000 replies to Transport for London's own consultation, which showed 2 to 1 against the Tram. How can the opinions of 815 people interviewed in their homes be more accurate than the considered responses of 17,000 concerned local residents?
