    • Reference: 2005/2403

    • Question by: Elizabeth Howlett
    • Meeting date: 14 December 2005
While residents welcome and are grateful for the 493 bus which runs from Richmond via Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton, Southfields, Wimbledon and terminating in St. George's Hospital, there have been complaints about the long delays in service; unhelpful drivers; buses not turning into St. George's Hospital and journeys cut short at Colliers Wood. I would be very grateful if TFL would look into these complaints and facilitate an improvement in the service.

Many residents in North Battersea who have to travel over the Thames to get their children to school or themselves to work are going to be heavily penalised by the Western extension of the congestion charge therefore I appeal to you to give these residents a discount on the daily charge.
