    Does the LDA acknowledge that by acquiring huge swathes of industrial land so close to the City Centre it has distorted the market and pushed prices up? What guarantees are in place to assure businesses that they will not be the victim of this artificial inflation?

    At the Rise Festival there was the 'Big Cuba Fiesta'; Including performances by Salsa and Merengue bands, Latin American DJ-ing, and salsa dance classes, organised by the Cuba Solidarity Campaign. Did the Cuba Solidarity Campaign receive any payment or benefits from the GLA for providing these services? If so what was the cost?

    Was there a cost to the GLA in producing the music video "Why?" by "Soul Deep UK featuring Baby Blue and Ayak" which was partially filmed in the Chamber of City Hall? If the GLA did contribute, can you explain how the proceeds are distributed? What - in these circumstances - constitutes a victim of gun crime?

    In a recent Freedom of Information request Clare Brown confirmed that up to 4th August 2005 twenty-one Heads of Agreement had been signed between the LDA and local businesses in the Lower Lea Valley. In Mary Reilly's update to me 12th October 2005 she stated that twenty-two had been signed. Given that the LDA seems to be signing one agreement every 68 days how long will it take to conclude negotiations with all 284 businesses? Is this slow progress deliberate?     At your appearance before the DCMS select committee on November 1 you spoke about needing 10% more land than was envisaged in the bid. What did you mean by this remark? Why do you need 10% more land? Is this 10% more than what is in the Bid? If so, please justify how it is possible that you need 10% more just months after we won the bid. Do you know which areas you want to purchase to make up the 10%? If so, please list them.
