    Given that £20 per year is the amount that Londoners are familiar with as the household annual council tax levy for the Games, how will the Mayor deal with London residents (living in properties above Band D) when they find out that in reality they are paying up to £40 per year?

    A recent edition of The Londoner Newspaper stated that the Olympics precept would last for 12 years. Can you confirm that a decision has now been taken to extend the Olympics precept to 12 years? If the period is 10 years extended to 12 if necessary, then why was the information in The Londoner incorrect?
