' he - (the Mayor)- talks about new buses, new routes and general improvements through the whole network, but nothing is been done about bus driver's wages to match the growing services .The bus driver's wages are about £277.00 per week. When are we going to get a better deal? '

    Some of my constituents who use the Dial-a-Ride service are not satisfied with the service and some believe that your reply to my question 1852 is inaccurate and gives a misleadingly positive impression of the service. Can you please respond to the following supplementary questions: Can you please give a geographical breakdown by Borough of the 228 bookings you refer to for trips after 11pm and the 76 before 8am. How do the contracts held by drivers differ from Borough to Borough across London - in particular can you say what the start and finishing times are for contracted drivers...

    What has happened to the plans to improve the layout of the street, and bus stops in Brixton High Street - under the planned phase 2 of the A23 Project by TfL Street management? Why has this been delayed? Will this scheme when implemented, do anything to reduce the frequent incidences of drug dealing in the bus stops in the centre of Brixton? Bus passengers stand shivering in the rain while drug dealers take up trading positions in the bus shelters. What priority is TfL and the MPS giving to this problem?

    Your answer to question 2407/2006 states that approximately 4.7% of London's CO2 emissions comes from public transport, excluding aviation. However, the Transport 2025 report, published on 28th November 2006, gives a different figure, that of 17% attributed to public transport. Which is the correct one?

    You announced on 23rd November 2006 that you would withdraw the free travel concession from anyone who played loud music from mobile phones on buses, can you provide the Assembly with a timescale as to when this provision can be incorporated into the Behaviour Code, and can you detail to the Assembly what measures you will be taking to effectively publicise this?
