    Would the Mayor join me in welcoming the recent announcement that BIG Lottery is investing over £15 million into library refurbishment, redevelopment or rebuilds to improve the quality and reach of library services in London - and the fact that this represents just under 20 per cent of the total funding of £80 million available for England, giving London the largest overall level of funding of all the English regions?

    Further to my Question 0511/2006 Accidents Involving Children, I welcome the actions which have taken place from your recommendations to roll out pilot projects across London to look into the issues as to why there are three times more black children being killed or seriously injured as pedestrians on London's streets regardless of economic background. Will TfL commit to funding a wider roll out of these projects to tackle the injury inequality amongst London's Black children?
