    Residents of Tower Hamlets and Newham have welcomed the Mayor's proposal to phase out the disliked bendy buses. The 25 which crosses both Borough's has an unfortunate reputation of being one of the least safe routes in London and many say this (and the well recorded fare dodging) is down to the bendy buses.
