The London View Management Framework, published in 2007, reduced the protection for ten strategic views of St Paul's Cathedral and the Palace of Westminster, including the historic viewing corridors from Parliament Hill and Primrose Hill. What plans does the Mayor have to restore the original protection for these strategic views, as set out in Regional Planning Guidance (RPG) 3a, 1991? In the meantime, would the Mayor consider rejecting any planning application under his discretion that falls within these original strategic viewing corridors?
