    Do you agree with me that land is available very cheaply in the current market, and that because of this there could be a programme of large-scale social housing construction, meeting housing need and providing employment in the construction industry, but virtually nothing is currently happening because the Treasury is blocking any fundamental reform in the housing subsidy system. When you next meet senior government ministers will you raise this with and encourage action to get London's housing market moving again?
