Following the recent fire in Peckham, and the revelation that ministers ignored a report six months ago regarding the dangers that timber-framed buildings present, is the Mayor happy with current building guidelines, and would the Mayor consider local action by updating the next drafts of the London Plan and the London Housing Design Guide to include a ban on constructing homes out of timber frames?
