You may remember that at the 'Your London Your Say' event on 17 September, you advised young people interested in the apprenticeship opportunities offered by the GLA, you advised them to 'get on the website and have a look'. I'm not entirely sure what website you were referring to as there is no information on apprenticeships on London.gov.uk or a dedicated website. Maybe you could clarify this for me?

Small businesses are finding the Compete4 funding structure impossible to navigate as it is too bureaucratic and, since it requires them to employ specialist bid writers to help them obtain funds, they are often 'priced out' of the process. Do you recognise this view and, if so, please inform me what you propose to do to enable small businesses to access the available funds?

How much did it cost to fly in buyers to this year's London Fashion Week, including accommodation and any other costs? Additionally, if you are going state how much money was generated as a direct result of flying these individuals in, I would like you to establish in detail the relationship between the GLA having paid for their trip and any purchases made by them.

In response to my letter of 24 September regarding your decision to cease funding to the London Older People's Resource Facility (LOPRF) at 1 London Bridge, thereby removing a valuable resource to London's pensioners' forums, you stated that 'when you consider that the GLA should provide strategic authority, I think it would difficult to justify this centre and the two staff employed to run it'. Is it hypocritical for somebody with a gold-plated parliamentary pension to talk about 'ways to reduce the pensions' of public-sector workers?
