    Can you confirm there is funding available to provide the Metropolitan Line signalling upgrade? TfL are currently stating this upgrade will take place before 2016, can you provide us with an update on the contracts for the upgrade? Do you maintain your promise that the new rolling stock, which carries with it a 29% reduction in seats, will not be introduced ahead of the signalling upgrade that would compensate this loss?

    I have been contacted by a constituent in regard to a Tour De France cycling competition held by TfL and Newsquest in 2007. My constituent has established that the answer to the competition question was incorrect. The question was 'How many kilometres are there of the London Cycle Network Plus?' but the answer regarded as correct, 900 km, referred to the target for 2010 rather than the existing network in 2007 (495km).   • Complaints over the treatment of vulnerable bus users

    How many complaints do TfL get in regard to the treatment of disabled people and failures by bus drivers to adapt to the needs of disabled people, e.g. failing to lower the platform, stopping over two feet from the curb. There seems to be a large body of anecdotal evidence of these incidents occurring in London, despite bus driver training on the issue. Would the Mayor and TfL consider building in a specific performance measure to the next wave of bus contracts to reduce this problem?
