By law, Croydon and Sutton borough councils will pay a combined £595,000 in 2011-12 for the upkeep of the Lee Valley Regional Park, which is many miles away from them and very few of their residents visit. Do you agree with me that it would be far more sensible if the boroughs could switch funding to the newly created Wandle Valley Regional Park, which cuts through my constituency and will be used my many thousands of my constituents.
