With 4 in 10 (over 600,000) London children living in poverty, 12% above the national average, food poverty is a major problem that is increasing across the capital. What assessment has the Mayor undertaken on the effects of Government's new formula to introduce a free school meals earnings threshold into the universal credit and has he lobbied the Secretary of State for Education and The Secretary of State for Welfare and Pensions on this?
