A constituent, who is a taxi driver, has asked to me raise this question: A US tourist recently told him how he had downloaded the Uber App in New York, signing the Terms and Conditions covering the US & colonies. He then used it to take a journey in London and was billed by Über BV in the Netherlands. How is this possible when on June 11th 2014, Tom Edwards, BBC London's transport correspondent reported that TfL had stated that Über must make it clear to the customer that the trip is being booked through London and not Holland?
