    Transport for All have recently published figures showing that the incidents of lifts out of service due to a shortage of qualified staff is already 118% higher this year than in 2015, with 142 incidents occurring between January to 11th October 2016 compared to 65 in 2015. What assurances can be provided that the occurrences of lifts out of service due to a shortage of staff will be dramatically reduced?

    To avoid collisions by buses with bridges, such as the recent incident on the 22nd October on St Loy's Road in Tottenham, will you consider making it a requirement that buses operating on London roads are equipped with a fixed beacon and detector or a proximity device that warns the driver directly when a double decker bus is on a course which would result in a collision with a bridge?

    Since the 1st September 2015 vehicles over 3.5 tonnes in London are required to be fitted with ClassV and ClassVI mirrors and with side guards. Please state (1) how many vehicles have been stopped relating to potential breaches of these standards, and (2) how many fines have been given to drivers of vehicles not meeting these safety standards.
