Research from the British Heart Foundation shows that more than one in five adults in Barking and Dagenham, Hammersmith and Fulham, Islington and Tower Hamlets smoke regularly - twice the rate of Richmond. Given that more than 1,000 Londoners are admitted to hospital each week for diseases directly caused by smoking, what steps are you, in conjunction with NHS partners, going to take to reduce the health inequalities associated with smoking in London?
