    On speaking with representatives from the taxi and private hire trade, it has been suggested that Private Hire Operators are required to have Contingent Liability Insurance, so that any third parties affected in incidents and accidents by any of their drivers who do not have the requisite insurance will be covered. Will you introduce a requirement for TfL licensed PH Operators to purchase Contingent Liability Insurance?
