    Government-backed assessments carried out by Public Health England and the University of Oxford suggests the lateral flow rapid tests may miss as many as half of Covid-19 cases, depending on who is using them.     In an ICU, the critical care nurse to patient ratio should be 1:1. During the first wave, at its peak, the ratio reached 1:6. The focus and concern should not be about the number of ICU beds available, but instead about the number of trained critical care staff to care for those in ICU.
