    Wheelchair Assessment Tests, which previously were undertaken by an authorised DVLA assessment centre, were to ensure that drivers meet the required legal safety standard when loading and securing wheelchair passengers. How many taxi drivers who have purchased or rented the new electric taxi have been trained to secure a wheelchair passenger subject to any DVLA test in the last 3 years? What plans do you have to roll out this training?

    TfL has no provision, guidance or support for disabled people to undertake the Knowledge of London to train to become a taxi driver. And when a disabled person passes the knowledge, TfL has no provision, guidance or support to assist disabled taxi drivers with the high cost of the wheelchair accessible vehicle, whereby a disabled person with a physical disability could be excluded from picking up wheelchair users, and therefore would not use the wheelchair functionality.
