    I note that TM Eye, which runs ‘My Local Bobby’ has successfully prosecuted Nicholas Richards, who has more than 50 previous convictions for shoplifting, after officers from the Metropolitan Police declined to become involved, when he was observed on CCTV stealing Gucci perfume worth £170 from Boots in Piccadilly, central London.
