  • Oral update to the Mayor's Report (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Joanne McCartney
    • Meeting date: 21 December 2023
Joanne McCartney AM: Yes, thank you, Mr Mayor. I am going to raise the Piccadilly line again. Part of the capital that you requested was to complete phase one of the Piccadilly line, which is the 94 new trains that are due to start arriving from 2025. Do we know whether there is sufficient money to ensure that those are on track and will be delivered?

    • Question by: Joanne McCartney
    • Meeting date: 06 July 2023
Joanne McCartney AM: Thank you. My question is for the Commissioner, and I am going to raise the issue of the Piccadilly line signalling upgrade. Joanne McCartney AM: My question is to David. We have heard today about the reallocation of sites for housing in the development. I noticed in your local plan modifications consultation schedule that you still say that you are confident that you can achieve that 50% affordable housing target overall, but I want you to confirm that. Also, in that you say that you consider there are a number of ways in which housing needs, particularly affordable housing, can be met within the local plan period. Could you explain in a little bit more detail what those means are and how...

    • Question by: Joanne McCartney
    • Meeting date: 11 November 2021
Joanne McCartney AM: My question is to David and it is about biodiversity. Could you give us an update on the biodiversity study you have commissioned from the Wildlife Trust for the OPDC and how you plan to maximise biodiversity across the site and in particular - we have talked about flooding earlier - how that can minimise the risk of flooding, too?
