  • Question and Answer Session: London Legacy Development Corporation (Supplementary) [13]

    • Question by: Keith Prince
    • Meeting date: 16 March 2023
Keith Prince AM: A couple of things to start with, Lord Hendy. It is good to see you again. You were saying that you were astonished earlier. Do you honestly believe that such prime real estate where the [Olympic] Games were held would remain fallow even now? If we look around where we are here, if we look at Docklands, Canary Wharf, none of those had the Olympic Games, from memory, but they have all been very successfully developed out.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Delivery in London (Supplementary) [12]

    • Question by: Navin Shah and David Kurten
    • Meeting date: 04 February 2021
Navin Shah AM (Chair): Thank you very much. Minister Zahawi, I know this morning already you had a very busy schedule. I have heard you on Leading Britain's Conversation (LBC), we have seen you on Sky [Network] Television (TV) and you are here this morning with us. I cannot thank you enough. That is: is London now receiving its fair share of COVID‑19 vaccinations and can we be confident that it will...
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Delivery in London (Supplementary) [13]

    • Question by: David Kurten
    • Meeting date: 04 February 2021
David Kurten AM: I would like to ask, yes, Martin Machray if I could, back to the people who were here before. You refer to the vaccine or the injections that people are being given from Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Moderna as vaccines. However, the substances from Pfizer and Moderna are not vaccines, as people understand vaccines. They are experimental Messenger RNA (mRNA) gene technologies. Why do you continue to refer to those two substances and injections as vaccines?
  • London and Covid-19 Restrictions (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: David Kurten
    • Meeting date: 12 January 2021
David Kurten AM: Thank you, Chair. I would like to ask Dr Fenton. We heard from the Chair and you earlier about admissions to hospitals with COVID being the highest since the start of the declared pandemic in March 2020. How do total hospital admissions now, this January, compare to last January and other winter seasons before this year?
  • Economic Recovery in London (Supplementary) [16]

    • Question by: Keith Prince
    • Meeting date: 23 July 2020
Keith Prince AM: Thank you, Chair. Could I look to Philip Graham as the only representative of the GLA family, please? Would you agree with the point that Jace Tyrrell made when he was saying that there is not a very good comparison with London when you look at other major cities that are getting far more people on their public transport now than we are? Do you think that is possibly down to confidence on public transport? Could that reason possibly be because people do not feel safe on our transport system? I am constantly getting complaints from my...
