Pages 95 and 104 of the Big Red Book (the official guidelines for bus drivers) state that bus drivers have to lower the ramp of the bus when asked to do so by a customer. On serval occasions over a period of 4-years, the same Brent resident has been refused access to buses because drivers have refused to lower the ramp, despite the resident needing the ramp lowered to allow her to manoeuvre her walking aid.
