    • Question by: Angie Bray
    • Meeting date: 30 January 2008
I understand that Shepherds Bush Central Line underground station is being closed for major refurbishment and building work. TfL have stated that the work will be completed within 8 months, and that a bus replacement service will be provided between Shepherds Bush station and White City station, and that Underground tickets will be accepted on local bus routes to alternative stations. * Is Transport for London demanding the very minimum amount of time for the work to be completed, bearing in mind the serious effect this will have on peak time travel going both east and west and that the...

  • 266 Bus Route

    • Reference: 2008/0254
    • Question by: Angie Bray
    • Meeting date: 30 January 2008
Would TFL give consideration to increasing the number of buses on the 266 route specifically between Acton and Hammersmith to cope with the serious problem of overcrowding at peak hours which is likely to get far worse when new residential developments come on stream? Passengers already find it very difficult to board buses anywhere between Acton Park and Hammersmith during morning peak hours because they arrive full and the problem is the same for passengers travelling west in the evening peak as buses start full from Hammersmith Bus station.
