Brian Coleman (AM): Mr Mayor, will you accept there is some concern in the voluntary sector across London, particularly from youth organisations and others that run minibuses and so on, and will you ask officers of Transport for London (TfL) to do a piece of work on engaging with the voluntary sector and explaining what the LEZ means? Will you if necessary look at exemptions? Particularly I am thinking of uniformed youth organisations who are deeply concerned that they may have to replace their minibuses at a time when their funds are limited.

Mr Mayor, would you accept, that as you are somebody who ran on a platform of rights for the boroughs and as those of us who believe in the rights of boroughs, it is perfectly legitimate for individual boroughs to take a strong view and a strong stance on what they should or should not have in their boroughs? These are right and properly matters for local councils to determine, whether they are Labour, Liberal Democrat or Conservative. Mr Mayor, would you accept that a vast majority of Londoners expect you to take a tough line with the leadership of trade unions who are clearly pursuing agendas for political purposes, out of touch with their ordinary hard working and decent members? What you also suggested, in your second mayoral term, which we are all looking forward to, is the relationship between LU and its various trade unions is a key area that you have to tackle. What costs have been incurred to date by the Greater London Authority and it's Functional Bodies in relation to the Inquests into the 7th July 2005 terrorist murders ?

According to a recent FOI, the new West Hampstead SNT base cost the taxpayer almost one million pounds, and yet an SNT policeman's role involves spending most of their time out on the beat. These spiralling SNT base costs work out, across Camden, at twenty three thousand pounds per officer. i) Will the Mayor agree to review these extortionate costs? ii) Should officers, instead, be attached to established police stations, in light of the fact that SNT bases are closed to the public?

Mayor, in the last Mayoral campaign you were very active, quite rightly, in going around London defending NHS services, particularly hospitals which are very important to many communities, against ill conceived and misjudged closures. Now, whilst recognising that clinical outcomes are always going to be important, there is more to hospital services in London than just clinical outcomes, are there not? There are extremely important community issues that have to be taken into consideration and are not taken into consideration by NHS bureaucrats. Presently the 168 bus route stops in the centre of South End Green, Hampstead. There can be up to 3 double decker buses standing at this point during the day. This state of affairs is a problem in terms of quality of life and health and safety for the locality. Will the Mayor instruct TfL to examine the possibility of moving the 168 to the bus stand at Morrison's supermarket at Chalk Farm, where there are two appropriate bus stands that could accommodate the route?

Will the Mayor condemn the violence by student protestors on 10th and 24th November, including dangerous attacks on police officers in the line of duty? Does the Mayor agree that, whilst protestors are entitled to express their views peacefully, there is no place for violence of this nature?
