  • Dial-a-Ride Destinations

    • Reference: 2024/0473
    • Question by: Caroline Pidgeon
    • Meeting date: 22 February 2024
I understand that a review by Dial-a-Ride has shown that about 200 destinations have closed during the pandemic and have not re-opened since. This means many Dial-a-Ride users will not be able to socialise as much as before the pandemic and could be at risk of loneliness. Will you consider promoting clubs, charities, societies and other organisations through Dial-a-Ride communications to give people the opportunity to find new ways of socialising and encourage more people to go out regularly?
