Does the Mayor therefore agree that as schools are hubs in all communities and central in providing food to children, universal free school means for all children should be a pan-London strategic priority and if so, what are you doing to enable this to happen?

    Trussell Trust data shows that 88,379 emergency food parcels were provided in London between April to September 2019 ( https://www.trusselltrust.org/news-and-blog/latest-stats/mid-year-stats/ ). This suggests the year on year increase in food parcel provision since 2012/13 will continue in 2019. Do you agree that an increasing reliance on food parcels marks a failure of government policy?
