    What consideration is TfL giving to the proposal for a £22.8 million tramway linking Barking and Dagenham that was prepared by AMEC Spie Rail, Interfleet and Sustraco for London Thames Gateway Development Corporation in 2006 ? Are there any reasons why this kind of low-cost tramway should not also be considered for the six niche sectors recommended by the Mott Macdonald Report on Ultra Light Rail (ULR) as being best suited for ULR, since it is now, as of last year, accepted by the DfT as being a legitimate alternative public transport option?
