Recent research by the equality charity Scope shows that 29 per cent of disabled people across the UK refuse to use public transport such as buses, trains, and tubes because of the prejudice they face. An additional 29 per cent said they use it less than they would like to. The research also stated that this abuse often comes from staff: 31 per cent from train staff and 33 per cent from bus staff. What actions are you taking following this report 1) to tackle any abuse from TfL staff and 2) to tackle abuse from the wider public?
