    I would like to ask you about next year. Again, you seem to be concentrating on just an expensive event in the centre of London. Is there not anything for the local areas, a celebration for all Londoners, not just an expensive three-minute televised event in central London? In a previous Mayor's Question Time you said you favoured early evening events in several locations around London. Can we not have more for outer London?

What kind of out reach programmes does the Met have for helping to tackle this fear, bearing in mind that the chance of being a victim of crime decreases as one gets older? .
