    Well it is not exactly as though you are talking about a lot of vehicles. What we are talking about is the transportation of horses within the Low Emission Zone, mainly at weekends, by people who attend equestrian events which would fall within the Low Emission Zone. We are talking about a small number of vehicles here, but by disqualifying them from coming into the Low Emission Zone, you are going to have a huge effect on horse riding and equestrian eventing.     That is an interesting answer. MI5, as you said, have about 2,000 people under surveillance, and they estimate that about 4,000 British nationals have gone to Pakistan or Afghanistan, to training camps there, and come back into Britain.

    On the Today Programme on June 30 the Mayor stated: 'What we do know in this city is that Muslims are more likely to be law abiding than non Muslims, Muslims are less likely to support the use of violence to achieve political ends than non Muslims.' Is this assertion based on any research, and if so, please can the Mayor supply the details.
