Thank you, Madam Chair. Mr Mayor, Murad Qureshi has raised this issue on fuel poverty a number of times. The question, which we skipped over which he was also posing, regarded air quality and CO2 targets. Now, I understand that there is a conflict in policy in achieving CO2 reduction and reducing fuel poverty charges because it is estimated some 15% of energy charges are so called green taxes. If we wished to impact everybody and list everybody in this capital city, could we recommend that the Government reduces the green tax on fuel? Would Murad then support you?

Mr Mayor, it is interesting to listen to Jenny Jones and Val Shawcross and we all share a concern where there is an increase in accidents involving children, but isn't the reality that this a multi-agency issue? It is not just something which can be pinned on yourself, as well known as you are across London I know that you are not omnipresent at every school at going home time. Mr Coleman and Mr Fihosy, you have both touched on a number of programmes that will be happening next year. Clearly there is the Olympics itself on a number of sites in and around London. Mr Mayor, Jenny Jones has made a laudable career over road safety and I think we should applaud her on that, and she has been very consistent in fighting for road safety, particularly for cyclists. That said, I have a photograph in my files of Jenny Jones on a bicycle with her skirt billowing, her hair blowing wildly in the wind, like some latter day Sister George. Would you join me in urging her to practice what she preaches and wear a helmet and ensure that there is consistent safety on the roads of London?

Mr Mayor, will you welcome and encourage the negotiations between the Borough Commander in Ealing and the Chief Executive and Council of Ealing to move the police headquarters out of their current inadequate, inaccessible - it does not even meet the Disability Discrimination Act - building into the civic centre to provide a service that is wanted and needed by the people of Ealing? Will you please continue to examine police assets to make sure that the meet local need and are not pickled in some form of Victorian aspic?

May I suggest that the railway stations identified by the noble Baroness are in fact under the control of British Transport Police and not the MPS and it is there that there needs to be some cooperation. The success at Hillingdon and Heathrow is because Social Services were first involved endeavouring to identify children who were first being trafficked into the country. However, there is also an issue of children being - trafficked is the wrong word - forcibly taken out of this country to the Indian subcontinent for purposes of marriage, etc, or indeed family control.
