  • Night Tube (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Roger Evans
    • Meeting date: 16 September 2015
Roger Evans AM: Jenny [Jenny Jones AM] made quite a good point, actually, about the noise that residents living near the lines will experience. I know I have had complaints and concerns raised by people in Woodford and South Woodford who live alongside the Central line where it is on an embankment and they are going to be subject to some noise overnight. Can you make sure that Transport for London (TfL) actually addresses those complaints and reassures them that it is not going to be a life-changing, sleep-depriving thing?

Roger Evans AM: I recently met constituents from Wanstead who wanted me to pass on their thanks for your decision to block the expansion of London City Airport. • Meeting date: 15 July 2015
Some victims of offences such as domestic violence or stalking often make multiple complaints to the police, but are dealt with by different police officers each time - therefore requiring them to continually repeat what are difficult allegations. What processes are in place for the Metropolitan Police Service to provide the victims of such crimes with a single point of contact to report any related future allegations?
  • Mobile application for victims of stalking

    • Reference: 2015/2174
    • Question by: Roger Evans
    • Meeting date: 15 July 2015
A mobile application specifically for the victims of stalking could enable them to record the perpetrators patterns of behaviour and provide them with a secure and confidential way of altering the police should they feel at an enhanced risk. Would you investigate the value of the Metropolitan Police Service commissioning a mobile application specifically to support the victims of stalking?
