    Tony Devenish AM: Thank you. I agree with what Assembly Member Desai just said there. Talking about hate crimes, one of the issues in terms of how tensions have risen in recent weeks has been protestors on the Cenotaph and you saw them probably, Mr Mayor, the Royal Artillery Memorial in Hyde Park had a protestor standing on it. Would you support legislation to make sure that anybody that basically tries to deface a war memorial is arrested and faces the courts?

    Tony Devenish AM: Thank you, Chair. I do not think I can ask the Mayor any more on this. I totally understand his answer. But, through you, can I ask you to take it offline with [London Assembly] Group Leads and see if we can write to the MPS Commissioner on this? Either the MPS needs to get better lawyers, or we need a change in law. I am not sure which it is, but we need to make sure that we unanimously around this table do take this up, because we cannot have this kind of outrage. Thank you.

    Do you agree with Christine Wallace, a Lambeth and Southwark community activist that it shouldn't be normal to check that loved ones get home okay, it shouldn't be normal to be afraid of walking home at night, and that it shouldn't be normal to get a crime reference number rather than a full investigation? What are you doing to make sure these are not normal?

    The current planned route for the C51 takes it through Enford Street. Currently, when St. Mary’s School is in session, barriers are placed at each end of Enford Street. How will bicycles navigate Enford Street when these barriers are in place?

    The current planned route for the C51 takes it through Wyndham Place. Wyndham Place used to contain a semi-circular road which, in the 1970s, was paved over to create a peaceful courtyard. Today this courtyard has many uses including as: a playground for the students of the ICS London- Primary International School, an outdoor café which is part of Boxcar Baker & Deli, St. Mary’s Church which is in regular, daily use for weddings and events. In addition Wyndham Place has eleven houses and the residents of the flats and people using the church are entitled to park their vehicles...
