To what extent have LOCOG been successful in ensuring value for money and adequate public consultation in relation to temporary venues?

I am going to focus in on Greenwich, which, I am sure you are both aware, is becoming a slightly controversial area. A quick opening question: in the bid book the estimated cost for the temporary venues in Greenwich Park was £8.8 million. What is the current estimated cost?

So you are telling the Assembly that, simply based on the information that you held in your records, on the assumption that all of your records were complete, you were able to come to a conclusion with regard to what Brenda Stern said, that as far as you were concerned there is no case to answer? Would not the obvious thing for you to have done have been to go to the source of the allegations? Is that not an elementary thing to do? Why did you limit your investigation just to the material which you say that you hold?

My final question is to Seb. Seb, does it worry you, as I am sure it should, that we keep reading things in the press about divers having to go to Sheffield and cyclists having to drive round the M25 in rush hour during the week in order to be able to train? Nobody could have foreseen that there were going to be problems with Crystal Palace? Lastly, can I just thank Sebastian [Coe] for his visit to my constituency and they were well received as he knows, but what he has left behind is big questions about when our young people going to be able to wear the 2012 badge like yourself and other city members!
