    You were elected on a manifesto saying that the cost of the GLA to Londoners was too high. However City Hall is spending more under your mayoralty than before, while the average Londoner is paying massively more when fares are included. Is it not misleading to say otherwise?

    In response to your budget guidance of June 2009 LFEPA has sent you a draft Medium Term Financial Strategy for 2010-11 to 2014-15. This includes an item for 2011-12 called 'London Safety Plan 4 Savings' which saves £3.386m. What reduction in the number of London fire-fighters do you understand this saving to require, and do you consider that to be consistent with your budget guidance that LFEPA maintains front-line services?

    What estimates have TfL made of the impact of the Brent Cross Cricklewood development on levels of traffic congestion in the Edgware Road area? Traffic congestion will have a significant effect on the roads of Brent and Camden. Can the Mayor detail the nature and extent to which consultation work has been conducted by TfL directly with those boroughs, in relation to mitigating any potential traffic congestion that will occur?

    Further to MQ 2956/2009 what progress has been made since your press release announcing the establishment of the Promote London Council [11/06/09] stated that 'In the coming weeks the Mayor through the Promote London Council will be tendering for agencies to present their ideas for rebranding the capital'? As of 14 October you stated that 'An agency has not yet been appointed as the procurement process is still underway'. Is there a procurement process and is it underway? When is a decision expected?
