    This is a very sensitive issue as well I think, but I think many of us understand that many firefighters have work outside of fire fighting, and that providing they are fit for work and able to do the job properly that should not be a problem in any shape or form. Is that an issue in relation to the shift pattern changes?

    We intend that the impact of the Bain Review, the modernisation agenda, would be very far-reaching in London. It would be about being able to broaden the services we provide to cover a wider variety of dangers and risks in London. It would be about us prioritising prevention work and reduction of fires and fires and deaths and other injuries.     I have two little tiny questions. I'll roll them together. The first is, following from Meg's point about the FBU, do you find that the Mayor of London is a help or a hindrance in your management of relations with the trade union, given the problems that perhaps there have been, particularly in relation to the rail unions? And the second part, while you're thinking of a good answer to that first part, is the relationship between fire vulnerability and poverty and whether you're working on any particular regeneration initiatives in London, where particularly vulnerable communities would benefit from the...
