In response to question 2022/4160, however, you suggested that TfL’s advertising is operationally independent. Which is it?

    Given that London's drug poisoning death rate is at its highest in more than 20 years, will you support the motion recently passed by the Assembly calling for you to commit £150,000 to fund two drug testing centres, to provide free, confidential and professional drug checking, as well as other healthcare intervention, training and workshops? Based on a model used in Bristol, adopting this scheme could help to make a significant difference in reducing drug-related harm.

You were full of praise for the 250 new restaurant/pub openings in London last year. But data we have suggests more than double that have shut down. Therefore, the net number of restaurant/pub openings in London is in fact down under your watch. Is that a 'world beating' hospitality industry and what are you doing in your budget to reflect that?
