In May 2010 there were 818 Police Officers in Tower Hamlets and now there are 646. In your Policing Plan you promise a total of 717 Officers. Are you satisfied that this number is sufficient to meet the policing needs, considering the number of PCSOs has been significantly cut?

Figures recorded for wounding/GBH in 2013 demonstrate a shocking increase of 46% during a period in which police and PCSO numbers have been cut. When do you plan to provide sufficient resources to reverse this worrying trend?

In 2013 thefts from motor vehicles rose by 12% and recorded crimes for motor vehicle interference and tampering rose by 15%. Is it coincidence that these increases have taken place as the number of PSCOs has been reduced by half?

I take it as genuine that the change in neighbourhood policing is intended to make London safer. This is a question to the Mayor. How do you deal with the fact that there has been a massive increase, more than doubling in recorded wounding and grievous bodily harm (GBH) under this new responsive model?
