I was pleased to see the impressive figures quoted in the Annual Report and accompanying press release. Please could you supply me with the data used to calculate the achievements? What is the borough breakdown of the 1,600 schools with travel plans? Can these figures be further broken down into primary and secondary schools?

I was delighted to read that school travel plans have already reduced car journeys in the capital. Of the first 300 schools to set up a travel plan, can you please supply me with the data used to calculate the car journey reduction of 6.9%? What is the borough breakdown of reduced car journeys? The success of the Walk on Wednesday incentive campaign is a credit to all those involved in making this happen, with an impressive 218,000 pupils taking part. Please could you provide me with a borough breakdown of participating schools and pupils? I assume this is more tailored to primary schools, but for clarity please could you provide figures broken down into primary and secondary schools?

Please can you breakdown your 70% target of London schools with an approved STP by April 2008. How many primary and secondary schools do you expect to have approved plans by this date? To help chart the progress towards the target of 100% of London schools with travel plans in 2 years time, will TfL be collating and publishing six monthly milestones? I have read in the press, and heard directly from constituents, that some drivers are letting passengers with insufficient funds on their Oyster cards board the bus. Are drivers expected in any way to regulate the use of tickets on their buses?

Will TfL review its decision to not provide a direct link between Barking and the Queen's Hospital in Romford? Although direct services exist from other local areas, the busy transport interchange at Barking lacks a direct link to the hospital, with passengers having to change buses and therefore pay two Oyster or cash fares in each direction.

Please can you impose a timetable for the safety redesign of this busy junction? It has been over three and a half years since TfL began designing safety improvements at this location, and a new design is still awaited. What is the current progress of the redesign?
