Despite being highly rated by its patients, this practice is threatened with closure due to NHS budget cuts. 1500 patients would be obliged to seek alternative services and the local community would lose a valuable resource if the closure goes ahead. What percentage of the population and how many households were found to be outside the 30 minute target time (a) before and (b) after the changes to the A&E department?

Do the estimates of the need for A&E services in South East London take into account your latest estimates of London's population growth and the recent upward trend in the use of A&E services?
