In response to your budget guidance of June 2009 LFEPA has sent you a draft Medium Term Financial Strategy for 2010-11 to 2014-15. This includes an item for 2011-12 called 'London Safety Plan 4 Savings' which saves £3.386m. What reduction in the number of London fire-fighters do you understand this saving to require, and do you consider that to be consistent with your budget guidance that LFEPA maintains front-line services?

The Minister of State at the Department for Transport (Sadiq Khan MP) told those who attended his meeting on the South London Line that if TfL would fund a Victoria-Bellingham rail service during the Thameslink Programme works at London Bridge, the Government would ensure that the requirement to run that service would be included in the franchise specification when it comes up for tender in 2014. While it is accepted that many Tube station entrances are in locations where it is not safe to allow vehicles to stop, can you confirm there is no TfL policy of preventing cars, black cabs and minicabs dropping off passengers at Tube station entrances ?

Season Ticket and Travelcard holders for Zones 1 and 2 using Oystercard on Southern Railway trains and wishing to travel into Zone 3 to stations like Honor Oak Park and Forest Hill will need to obtain an Oyster Extension Permit for each such journey. Will they be able to obtain their OEP from Forest Hill and Honor Oak Park stations for the return journey?

What level of penalty fine will be imposed on passengers found by revenue inspectors travelling on trains without Oyster Extension Permits when these are required, even though they are not available at national rail ticket offices?
