  • New Year's Resolution (Supplementary) [1]

    • Question by: Caroline Russell
    • Meeting date: 21 December 2023
Caroline Russell AM: Thank you, Chair. As my new year resolution for City Hall, I think we can all agree that the office of the Mayor of London should not be for sale in the new year. I made public earlier this week that United Airlines secured free publicity and final sign off on City Hall materials in exchange for business class flights for your trip to the United States [of America] (USA) in May 2022. • New Year's Resolution (Supplementary) [4]

    • Question by: Susan Hall
    • Meeting date: 21 December 2023
Susan Hall AM: Thank you. Diddly squat? Diddly squat? A £21 billion budget; I hardly would call that diddly squat. Thank goodness they are giving it mainly to the boroughs because it cannot be squandered by you. But all I would say to you, Mr Mayor, is that anybody that regards a budget of £21 billion as diddly squat really has no understanding at all of money. Thank you, Chair.
